This week we have noticed so many people coming in ready to mend their clothes for fall, and many doing so for the first time! We have all the notions you need to get started, including this super cute travel kit, embroidery thread, and visible mending stitch guides by the wonderful Approved Textiles—a Philly based independent business that you must follow if you’re interested in such things.

If you don’t know where to get started, join us next week for intro to embroidery! We have just a few seats left. Keep an eye out for mending specific classes in the following months as well!

People ask for cards at the shop all the time, but we don’t want just any cards, we want your cards!! For this back to school season we’re soliciting student designs to help build out our small stationary collection.

We’re partnering with our friends at Space Type to risograph print the designs, along with our artist collection, at the end of the month! Please encourage all the students in your life to submit! We have flyers to put up in schools too, just stop by the shop!
