If you’re planning a wedding and don’t want another guestbook that’s going to sit on a shelf, this is what I do.

Your guests sign fabric squares. I turn those squares into a custom quilt that you can actually use.

A wedding guestbook is supposed to help you remember the people who were there.

So I always thought it was a little strange that the traditional solution was a book that gets signed once and then spends the rest of its life sitting on a shelf.

I make guestbook quilts because I’d rather see those messages become something you actually live with.

Something you can curl up under.

Something you see in your home.

Something that reminds you of the people who were there.

A guestbook worth keeping.

Your wedding is over. The signatures are collected. Now what?

This is where I come in.

Each signed fabric square is cut, arranged, and sewn into a quilt—one piece at a time.

There’s a lot more work between “your guests signed these” and “here’s your finished quilt” than you might think.

But eventually, all those individual messages become something you can actually use and keep for years to come.

That’s the whole point.

Remember this quilt? 👀

Well… it won a blue ribbon at the Erie County Fair! 🏆💙

I made this one specifically for the competition, so naturally I was a little nervous to see what the judges thought.

Apparently, they liked it. 😂

When should you order your guestbook?
6 months before your wedding day.
This gives me time to order and prep all the materials well in advance of your big day. We want everything to go as smooth as possible so that means allowing enough time for all the moving parts to make their moves.

How do I clean my quilt?
If machine washing, use a gentle cycle with cold water. Use mild detergent, and avoid fabric softeners. If you’re concerned about dyes then throw in a couple color catchers. .
After washing, the preferred drying method is air drying. Dry the quilt flat or hang it over a clothesline, ensuring it’s fully dry to prevent mold or mildew. If you want you can use a dryer on low heat with a few clean tennis balls to fluff the quilt gently.
Don’t wash it more often than necessary. Think of it like your hair, if you wash it too frequently it’ll cause damage.

How long have you been doing this?
I’ve been sewing since I was a kid (20+ years). And I have been quilting for more than 10 years.
I’ve been operating my business for almost 5 years! 😱 It does not feel like it’s been that long already! Time flies when you’re having fun!
