✨ Every year we are fortunate enough to plan an epic end-of-summer family vacation. Travel, over “things”, has always been the priority for my husband and I. Showing our kids other places and culture, near or far, is the best education we feel we can provide.
This year was a week on San Miguel Island in the Azores, off mainland Portugal. It was breathtakingly beautiful everywhere - and almost impossible which photos to chose of the hundreds I took!
But this is a snipet of what vacation does for me. I hope you are able to take an adventure, big or small, local or far this year. There is so much to be inspired by in the world🫶.

✨Basement ReOrg✨
I don’t post a lot of my organizing work, but I’ve had a lot of inquiries lately, so YES, I LOVE to organize!

This project, for a fellow woman-business-owner, helps her to keep killin it, while being able to allocate her (limited) time to the other humans and day-job that need her!

✨Primary Bedroom Refresh✨
My client did SO much work to the rest of her beautiful home, but ran out of gas for her bedroom. She lived with the flooring and paint color choices for too many years and was over it! It was time to give her the cozy, relaxing respite she deserved.

We cacconed the room in the most serene taupe to make the grey floor disappear, rearranged all the existing furniture, gave purpose to some family heirlooms, added new textiles (not forgetting her Fur Baby), made a purposeful hidden storage nook, and Voila - a room fit for *two* queens! 🐾👑

🏠 When you’re paying for a vacation stay, it should be clean and well appointed, right?
This place had some wonderful positives - a river, large interior and exterior gathering space, a huge game room, a hot tub. But it’s also the functional things that make a stay great, make you able to settle in and truly relax like it’s Home.

If your Airbnb, or long term rental doesn’t have functionality, you’re losing those 5-star Super Host reviews and thus, losing money.

I’m not a selfie fan, but I luv you all enough for it.
If you have an “average-risk” you should start your screening mammogram at 40 (not 45). If you are “high-risk” it may be earlier (talk with your provider now).

🩷 I’ve had too many people I love affected by this disease in their FORTIES. So, in my hopes to encourage you to get screened here’s my offer:
🌷If you are over 40 and due for a mammogram, get your appointment in the next 40 days
🌷then “call” me for an interiors consultation within 40 days
🌷and get 20% off your next project (sorry, it’s not 40, I have to feed my family 🫶).

I don’t care if you book a service with me, I care that you understand the importance of screening at 40 💕.

✨Guest Room Refresh✨
Part 2 of the Guest Suite (finally) coming at you!
Once again an amazing Turkish rug was all the inspo I needed. We let it be the star of the show, then filled the room in gorgeous monochromatic textiles from - the silk, the sheen, all the sexy modern!
Finished off with a restyle of my clients great furniture and decor, and voilà a guest suite no one will want to check out from 🧳
