This spring season has felt heavy.

Everything seems busy and full with motherhood, life, and responsibilities, but at the same time other things still don’t feel like they’re moving fast enough. The garden is growing, yet progress feels slow in a world where everything is on demand. If I’m being honest, that can be discouraging.

But this season is teaching me something important.

Keep digging.
Keep sweating.
Keep building for the future.

The seeds I’m tossing into the soil today, between toddler snacks, tantrums, and the everyday chaos of motherhood, will soon turn into something beautiful. Something that simply cannot be replicated unless it is grown locally with time, care, and patience.

When I look back at last season, I think about the early mornings, the heat, and the uncertainty. I remember that it was all worth it.

Here’s to slow progress.
To messy, real growth.
To trusting that what we are building now will bloom in time. 🌸

Can’t wait for armfuls of these cherry bronze snapdragons! This color is brighter than I am use to, but I can already see it being such a workhorse for bouquets.

Snapdragon season is almost here 💐

Our first round of snaps is just about ready to bloom and I’m so excited to see these start popping in the garden. These are one of my favorite spring flowers. Tall, colorful, and perfect for fresh market bouquets.

Give it just a little longer and we’ll be rolling in snapdragons around here.

Had to repost these sunnies because I just planted our first sunflower succession of the season today 🌻

They grow fast, they’re bright, and they make the best little market bouquets. Hoping we’ll have armfuls of these again soon.
