How About We BAKE

How About We BAKE I'm a former French teacher and school bus driver that also bakes family recipes on the side. Growing up, I watched my mom, mammaw, and nannaw bake.

Over the years, I've learned to bake those same great recipes.

Happy Halloween & Merry Christmas! You do you. Put that tree up when it makes you happy.

What do you do when you have leftover cinnamon rolls? You use them to make a French Toast casserole.

How about we bake some carrot cake cookies. These turned out great! Instead of pecans you could add other nuts or cream cheese chips that are similar to chocolate chips.

How about we make chicken spaghetti? This has been a family favorite for many years. Making this brings back memories of mammaw or mom making this for Sunday lunch after church. All of the family would gather at mammaw's and pappaw's house, which meant a lot of people! I hope you enjoy it as much as my family. Enjoy!

Just call me Little Ricky, Little Stephen, or Little Debbie. Today’s baking adventure included making copycats of Oatmeal Cream Pie, Star Crunch, and Fudge Rounds. I thought I’d treat my acting class to some goodies tonight.

How about we make my dad’s BBQ beans for Father’s Day? My dad died when I was 18, but he left me with lots of great memories. Making this today brought back some of those memories. I hope you enjoy!

How about we make my dad's BBQ beans? Today is Father's Day so I thought I'd make one of my dad's recipes to honor and remember him. He passed away when I was 18, but he left me with lots of great memories.

I’ve been baking again! This time, I made coconut fried pies, pineapple fried pies made in the air fryer, and a coconut pie. If I had my bus out here, I could have a “Bakery Bus” to drive around L.A. Maybe someday. 😊

How about we make my Nannaw's fried pineapple pies? I've shown you how mammaw made her fried pies, so how about we see how my Nannaw did hers? Her dough is slightly different. She made pineapple fried pies, which is different than the way I've seen other fried pies made. The only thing I'd change in the pie filling is to use pineapple juice instead of water when cooking the pineapples down.
