Hi everyone!
It’s been a long time since we last posted!
Zach here, and I just wanted to address our absence. We have been dealing with a lot over the last 6-9 months, and it has taken a huge toll on our motivation to continue on with our business at this time. We want to apologize to anyone we have disappointed or left hanging. We want to thank everyone for the support over the time we were up and running, hopefully in the future when things have settled down, we can make some more planty memories with you all! Apologies for the late post!
This weeks featured plant is an absolute beauty! ‘The King’ Anthurium veitchii has arrived to our online shop! We have a very limited quantity with only two left at the moment!😮😮😮
If you want a gorgeous houseplant that will produce absolute MASSIVE foliage when it’s mature, this is the plant for you!!!

🌱 Anthuriums grow best in higher humidity, at least 50%.
🌱 Some direct light is okay, but too much exposure to direct light can cause damage to the foliage
🌱 These plants are not drought tolerant so make sure to stay on top of your watering!

Happy Monday everyone!
A new week means a new featured plant! Our pick for is a new arrival to our shop, the Syngonium ‘wendlandii’!
This plant is simply stunning! We’ve been really admiring the dark-emerald foliage with that beautiful white mid vein!

🌱 bright indirect lighting is best to keep this plant happy
🌱 only water when the top inch of soil is dry
🌱 regular household humidity should be fine for this arrowhead!

We’re welcoming back with a new arrival to the New Leaf shop, the Philodendron ‘wend imbe’. This beautiful hybrid philodendron comes to us from an amazing local grower here in NJ. It has stunning deep green, lance-shaped foliage and we can’t get enough of it!😍

Care instructions:
🌱they will do best in bright indirect lighting, but can adapt to most lighting conditions.
🌱allow the soil to dry in between waterings to avoid root rot.
🌱your average household temperature/humidity will suit this plant just fine.

Happy everyone!
Hoyas have been growing on us more and more lately, the waxy texture of the leaves, especially on the Compacta, make them so unique to other house plants!
I also wanted to apologize for the lack of posts lately, life has been extremely busy, but we have some new stuff in the works and will be bringing back our weekly featured plants very soon!

Philodendron Gloriosum appreciation post 😍🌱

Our 2 gloriosums have been absolutely thriving, even in the dead of winter! These plants are so fun, we always get comments on these when someone visits the house ☺️

We’ve been busy planning ahead for spring/summer events! Can’t wait for warm weather, longer days and sunshine 🌞

What are y’all looking forward to this summer?

We’re going to attempt a veggie garden for the first time and we’re super excited 😬

Our plant of the week is a beautiful vining Monstera, the Siltepecana. Because of it trailing nature Siltepecana can be used in beautiful hanging baskets or as a potted vine dangling down the shelf.
🌱 they will thrive in bright indirect light with soil that is kept lightly moist

🌱 they are native to Mexico and can be found in other Central American counties

🌱 they also look amazing on a trellis!
