Double Shave Ice 🍧🌺 Two scoops, twice the sweetness, and a whole lot of summer memories. This painting was inspired by those simple Hawaii moments I love so much: warm sunshine, a refreshing shave ice in hand, and nowhere you need to be. The kind of little moment that stays with you long after the vacation is over.

I painted these shave ice pieces to capture that feeling of joy, color, and carefree summer days and to bring a little bit of that feeling home with you.

And while I'm looking back at some of my favorite summer-inspired pieces, something new is taking shape in my studio... 👀🎨 I'm working on a collection of mini paintings, and they're coming soon! I can't wait to show you what I've been creating. ✨🍧🤍

🤍 Palette Walk | White 🤍 This week's Palette Walk led me to the Kansas City Public Library Downtown, and I was completely in awe.

I hadn't visited since before COVID, and I'd forgotten just how incredible this building is. From the soaring 35-foot ceilings and stunning white marble to the ornate chandeliers and intricate architectural details, every corner felt like a work of art.

And my favorite surprise? 🎬 A movie theater tucked inside the old bank vault! How cool is that? One of the things I love most about Palette Walk is how choosing a single color encourages me to slow down and notice details I might have otherwise missed. This week, white wasn't just a color it highlighted craftsmanship, history, and timeless beauty.

Watermelon Raspberry Shave Ice 🍉🍧 Some of my favorite vacation memories aren't the big adventures, they're the simple moments.

Stopping for shave ice after a day in the Hawaiian sun. Trying to decide which flavors to order. Watching the colors melt together before the first bite. It's a little reminder that joy can be found in the simplest moments: a sweet treat, warm sunshine, and time spent with the people you love.

I paint these memories so they can be enjoyed long after the vacation ends. 🍧☀️🕶

There are certain places that stay with you long after you've left. For me, Ko Olina is one of them. 🩵🩷 This painting was inspired by the lagoons, where calm waters meet pastel skies and every sunset feels like a gift. It's the kind of place that reminds you to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the moment.
