Whew… how did we get here?! 🥹

I feel like I was just sittin’ down, writing my goals and makin’ a plan for the 2026 season. And now here we are… September is here, and our 2026 season is slowly comin’ to an end.

Them older folks sure knew what they were talkin’ about when they said, “The older you get, the faster time slips away.” Because WHEW… they weren’t lyin’. 😂

So, here’s my little September reminder for you and for me, too:

I hope this month, and all these beautiful “ember” months ahead, treat you with kindness. I hope they bring you so much love, little moments of joy, and plenty of reasons to pause and smile.

And somehow, in the middle of all the hustle, I hope we remember to slow down.

To notice the changing leaves.
To soak up the sunshine.
To enjoy the last glimmers of summer.
To breathe a little deeper.

Because this season won’t come around again.

So let’s enjoy what’s left of it. 🌻🍂

Howdy, Glimmer L💐vers!

Happy Monday & HAPPY LAST DAY OF AUGUST! 🥹🍂

Friendly reminder: ya girl still works a day job AND operates this little flower farm all by herself. 🤓😭😆😋

Crazy, right?! 😂

But truthfully… I LOVE IT. 💐

With that being said, messages may be delayed, comments may get missed, and sometimes I’m just over here hangin’ on by a thread like, “WHEWWW.” 😭🤣

I’m doing my very best to keep all the glimmers growing, picked, designed, delivered, planted AND loved on while also working my other job.

Next year, I’m making a promise to myself: I’m going to stop trying to run myself ragged and actually GET SOME HELP. 😂🙌🏼

Because this little dream deserves my full attention, and I’m ready to grow it into everything I know it can be. 🌱💐

🌸 Sunday Devotion -The Glimmer Patch Edition 🌸

Knowing that the same God who gives me these beautiful glimmers these flowers is the very same God who created me fills my heart with wonder.

The same God who painted the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises decided to create me.

The same God who made the rolling hills of Kentucky, the ocean, the mountains, the stars, and every beautiful little detail this world holds… thought I was worth creating.

And so are you. 🩷

So when you’re feeling like He isn’t here, isn’t near, or just isn’t around He is.

When you’re feeling stuck down in the valley, like you aren’t good enough for His goodness, or like somehow you don’t deserve the beauty He gives so freely…

You do.

He created you.

He created that smile.
He created your heart.
He created your softness.
He created your too-muchness.

He knows every little piece of you—because He’s the one who put it there.

Your big heart? He knows it.

Your sensitive soul? He knows it.

The parts of you that feel like a little too much for this world?
He knows those too.

You were created intentionally.

Not by accident.
Not by mistake.
Not as an afterthought.

You were created for His will.
For His purpose.
For good.

And while we’re here, maybe part of that purpose is simply to love a little harder, live a little louder, give a little more grace, and…

sprinkle a glimmer of love wherever we go. ✨🌸

So don’t apologize for loving.

Don’t apologize for living.

Don’t apologize for your soft heart.

Don’t apologize for being too much.

The God who created the flowers growing in my patch, the sunset over my head, and the hills beneath my feet…

created YOU, too.

And baby, that means you are pretty dang special. 🩷

At The Glimmer Patch, we LOVE celebrating our sweet peoples within the community it’s kinda our thang! 🩷✨

Our sweet Gal turned 60 & of course, we had to show her a little Glimmer Patch love! 💐🎂

Mrs. L is the face of this little hole-in-the-wall gem right here in Hart Co. She remembers our drink orders no matter how long it’s been, remembers exactly where we like to sit, and even drops fresh wontons for the soup. 🥹

Now, if that isn’t Southern hospitality, I’m not sure what is!

It’s the little things. The familiar faces. The people who make a place feel like home. And we’re so thankful for folks like Mrs. L who sprinkle a little sweetness into our community. 🩷

Happy 60th Birthday, sweet Gal! We hope your day was filled with all the love you so freely give to everyone else. 🌸✨

Our hearts go out to the Bryant family as they grieve the loss of a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and sweet friend. 🩷

The Glimmer Patch is honored to have been able to create and deliver several arrangements to the Bryant family during this difficult time. 💐

Sometimes flowers can’t take away the pain, but they can be a small reminder that you are loved, thought of, and surrounded by a community that cares.

I know flowers are often considered a “luxury,” especially with the economy we’re in right now. But listen… we’re still allowed to treat ourselves. We’re still allowed to sprinkle a little glimmer of love into somebody’s day without breaking the bank. ✨

🌻 Sunday Devotion: TGP Edition 🌻

Trusting God.

Whew. I mean really trusting God.

Living through “seasons” of uncertainty the disasters, the climate, the unpredictability of farming, and then all the everyday things life decides to incorporate on top of it all trusting God can be HARD.

Because here’s the truth…

He never makes a mistake in our lives.

It’s us humans who tend to wrestle with what we’re walking through. We question. We overthink. We try to control. We try to make sense of things that sometimes simply don’t make sense.

Trusting God is hard for so many reasons.

Especially when we’ve prayed for something and already decided in our heads exactly how we want it to turn out. We pray, “God, please let this happen…” while secretly hoping He’ll do it exactly the way we planned.

And then when He doesn’t?

We struggle.

Trusting God sounds simple.
“Just trust Him.”

But how many times in the process are we negotiating?

“Okay, God… but just this one time.”
“Can we do it my way this time?”
“I know You’ve got it, but…”

It’s easier said than done.

And trusting Him in farming and honestly, just EXISTING sometimes is HARD.

Very hard.

Because I can plant the seeds. I can water them. I can nurture them. I can pray over them. I can do everything I know to do…

…and then I still have to let go.

I still have to trust.

He hears us when we weep.
He hears those quiet cries nobody else hears.
He knows the desires buried so deeply inside of us because He made us.

And there’s something incredibly peaceful about knowing that.

Whatever season I’m facing…
Whatever circumstance I’m standing in…
Whatever valley I’m barely making my way through…

He is still there.

And maybe the answer isn’t always getting me exactly where I thought I was going.

Maybe He’s leading me somewhere better.

Somewhere that is in His will and not mine.

Because He knows what I don’t.

He sees what I can’t.

He knows the beginning, the middle, AND the ending.

So today, I’m reminding myself and maybe you need the reminder too:

🌻 Trust the Gardener.

Even when the season feels uncertain.
Even when the harvest looks different than you imagined.
Even when you don’t understand what He’s doing beneath the soil.

Keep planting.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.

He’s not making a mistake.

Sometimes He’s just growing something in us before He grows something around us.

And that, my Glimmer L💐vers, is where I’m finding my peace today.

Trusting Him. Even when I don’t understand. 🤍

I hope today & this weekend brings glimmers ( tiny “ awe” that makes yoi feel alive ) whatever that looks like!

Orders are CLOSED for this week !

Will open back up Monday with that being said I’ll be posting on how , when, where to do all of that and how to pay & how it all works out.
