Just left the Arts in Health conference at Rowan University, Hosted by George Family Center for Healing Arts. What an amazing day filled with inspirational speakers, fun arts activities, and connecting with Movers and Shakers, Creatives, Administrators and others who came together with the sole purpose of discussing the importance of bringing the arts into health through communities, hospitals, schools, and to other vulnerable communities. .

Last night I couldn't sleep, and this song, which I hadn't heard in over a decade, popped into my head. I loved this song as a child. I didn't know why, but I always felt total light radiating from me when I could sing and dance to it.

Each of us, I believe, seeks a peaceful existence — one that is content and calm. Through trust, wisdom, and faith, we can find the balance, peace, and harmony we are looking for.
Along life's winding road, if we seek, we shall find what is right for each of us — individually and in our own time.

A winter garden rests in silent grace,
Blanketed in white, a tranquil, frozen space.
Bare, silver branches etched against the sky,
Where autumn's vibrant colors used to fly.
The roots are dreaming deep beneath the frost,
A peaceful pause, where busy life is lost.
Beneath the snow, the quiet, sleeping earth,
Awaits the gentle nudge of spring's rebirth.
