Boy are we lucky to be across the street from a farm fresh produce stand. The warm wet weather this summer and early fall kept the corn and tomatoes coming. Just had some acidy sweet tomatoes and sugar popping corn, and I'm picking up more today. They close for the season after Oct.31, so drop by this weekend and get your, along with all the autumn specialties, And while you're there, come on across Route 9 and pay us a visit.

Irish Santa serenades a Waterford pitcher, speeds by a monumental cranberry glass converted oil lamp, and poses for a turn-of-the-century postcard. Smart Santas know that if you want your gifts and decorations to be special, you have to start early and get out in the country and visit the antique shops. If it has to be unique, it has to be an antique. The Fall weather and colorful foliage are a plus.
