Hand-cut Capiz shells and turquoise shell veneer, layered into a flowing composition inspired by movement in nature. Once the fish shapes are cut, resin is applied to create a glass-like surface that shifts with the light throughout the day.

So much of my work comes from observing patterns that already exist in the natural world — the movement of schools of fish, the repetition of patterns in water and sand…

Nature has always been the best artist and I think some of the best ideas come from simply paying attention to it.

I’m in my studio this Sunday, and I just feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. With spring in the air, I’ve been inspired by all the blooming trees and florals. My creativity feels wide open right now, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

What. A. YEAR.

Honestly I could have made 100 slides because so much happened in 2025.

I never imagined certain things would unfold the way they did, but life really pushed me into change and even the uncomfortable parts expanded me.

I’m walking into 2026 with clarity, excitement, and a version of myself I’ve worked hard to become. I’m just getting started! There is so much more art, more travel, more collaboration, more POSSIBILITY ahead.

Last week I had the pleasure of delivering a commissioned 40”x40” Hydrangea piece to Lara .ca and her clients’ beach home in Longboat Key, FL.

Cay-cay shell mosaic on grasscloth, framed in bamboo to compliment the warm coastal palette. It sits right at the entry, greeting you as you walk in, and a console will soon complete the vignette below it.

I LOVE how it turned out. Seeing a piece in its new space always hits different.
