Screaming HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY to the little boy who started it all!! 🎉🎃🌽

Wesley started Wesley’s Harvest when he was just 6 years old. It all began with some Indian corn he grew for fall decorations and learned how to harvest himself. Not long after, he got his first tractor, and Dad built him a matching wagon so he could haul his products… to the end of the driveway, of course, because he’s still not allowed past there. 😂

Fast forward four years, and our little 6-year-old farmer is officially 10! 🥹

What started with Indian corn has grown to include gourds, pumpkins, sweet corn, handmade products, merch, and plenty of new ideas every year.

But our favorite part of Wesley’s Harvest has always been what happens behind the stand.

Each year, Wesley writes his own business plan. He chooses a goal for the season and figures out how much of what he earns he needs to save, reinvest in his business, spend, and donate to a charity of his choice. ❤️

And every season comes with a new lesson. Last year, he focused on marketing and learned how important it is to tell people about what you’ve worked so hard to create.

This year, he decided to add a little science to the mix. He learned about cross-pollinating corn and experimented with creating the colors he wanted, which led to one of his newest products this season: SPORTS CORN! 🌽🏈

Four years ago, it was a little boy, some Indian corn, a tractor, and a stand at the end of the driveway.

Today, he’s 10 years old and learning about entrepreneurship, agriculture, science, money, giving back, hard work, and what it means to grow something from an idea.

Happy 10th Birthday, Wesley! 🎂
