Birds of a feather flock together…

Wednesday’s find is this charming set of six antique English bird prints. There is something so lovely about a collection of prints displayed together, and these would create a wonderfully considered moment on a wall.

A little bit of history, a lot of character, and quite the impact when hung as a set.

On our radar…

Some pieces simply have future heirloom written all over them.

These beauties caught our eye with their hand-crafted pine frames, quietly pretty beige upholstery and that wonderfully shaped back. Finished by hand, each one has just enough character to make you stop and take notice.

Perfect around a dining table, rather lovely pulled up to a desk, or even better as a pair, looking effortlessly at home wherever they land.

A little old-world charm, a little country house practicality, and entirely GB.

Hanging up my many outfits for Round Top this October, as I’ll be staying closer to home and looking after a very important person-my mother.

I’ll be back with some more beautiful European pieces for the Winter Show at the fabulous Blue Hills at Round Top. In the meantime you will find me a little closer to home at the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY.

So, no Round Top this October, but plenty of beautiful things to look forward too!

Sunshine Yellow.

Talking all things yellow! I know it might frighten some of you, but used in the right way, I think it can be one of the most beautiful colours in a home.

In our English country house, we used Zoffany’s paint Vermeer in the drawing room and I have to say, it was pure joy. Warm, sunny and wonderfully uplifting!
