When I first started to make paper, I coined the hash tag, , to explain part of my process. That phrase is never more true now. In this video I transform the blue lily flax, that grows in my yard, into this lovely textural handmade paper. My happy place.

Our Story

Pedaling Paper prides itself in creating handmade paper for unique art, cards, handmade books, bowls and gifts that are sustainable and made with love.

Working with mostly found or recycled materials and employing small batch production techniques, each item is handcrafted with care and has a genesis in my love of nature, re-purposing and recycling. I work with shredded paper, cotton rag, and then add inclusion such as flower petals, seeds, herbs, weeds or tree bark and whatever else I can get my hands on. Often, I will adorn cards with original block prints or watercolor illustrations. I let the materials inspire me and turn over the reins to the creative process.
