Fall Porch Charm is led by a mother and daughter team, Amanda and Ally Weinraub. It all started with fall pumpkins and mums on a few front porches.
Before long, our clients started asking if we decorated for Christmas too. We love Christmas, and we love decorating, so we thought, why not? We studied up on tree styling, practiced until every branch looked just right, and off we went.
Today we style porches, trees, mantels, and whole homes for the holidays across the Triangle.
We have so much fun doing this. We both have strong opinions, and you will probably catch us bantering about exactly where a garland should drape or which ornament belongs front and center. We always find a way to agree, and we think our homes turn out better because of it.
Amanda handles the client side of things, including consultations, scheduling, and installations. The shopping and decorating are a true team effort, and we share those parts equally.
Amanda is a seasoned entrepreneur with a background in marketing and a lifelong eye for design. She has been decorating her own home since her late twenties and has styled spaces for friends for years. She loves how a few thoughtful changes can make a room feel completely different. Her favorite part of every project is creating the vision, bringing it to life, and then seeing the client’s face when it’s all done.
Amanda’s signature touch is being a little playful and trying something new. This fall, she worked baskets into her pumpkin display on her own front porch, and it turned out to be one of her favorite designs yet.
Ally started decorating alongside her mom when she was 16. Today she is a business and marketing major at ECU, and she comes home on weekends to design and decorate with Amanda.
Ally is professional, personable, and wonderful with clients. She makes everyone feel comfortable and cared for from the first hello. She also has a natural understanding of both design and business, along with a great eye for the small details that make a space feel finished.
Her favorite thing to style is the Christmas tree, and it shows.
