QUESTION: Stained top or just carry the metallic all the way up? It’ll have to be a faux wood since it needed repairs but you know how much I looove doing those lol

Gonna be doing a base coat with similar colors to my metallics and then I’m gonna play with Paint Couture’s new flexible casting resin for the molds. Could be a total game changer 😊

Picked up a bunch of pieces to keep me busy the next 6 months!

This first one up might have me excited the most! Going bold with this lingerie chest and an all metallic finish with Paint Couture Pyrite and Stardust plus Simple Greenery molds will diagonally wrap the piece at the transition. Some other fun details too, so stay tuned.

I really enjoy giving desks a makeover. Not sure exactly why lol, but partly because I feel they get passed over by so many artists. Had fun with this one with the blended finish, Paint Couture pink metallic stripes, and the Redesign with Prima Burgundy Rose transfer. The top is actually a faux wood finish with Heirloom Traditions paint, antiquing gel, and Antique White gel stain. Finished off with some subtle hints of their Pearl metallic antiquing gel and Weathered Wood for a small touch of depth. It was meant to be a set with the matching bookcase I did but that was snatched up before I could finish the desk 😊. Who else adores pinks and purples cause I know I do!! 💜

10. Old and sh*tty does not equal antique.

9. Hello? Hello? Anybody there? WHY do you list something and then not respond to people??

8. Woodgrain-pattern laminate is NOT solid wood.

7. Calling it “vintage” does not mean you can ask 10x what it’s actually worth. And “a beautiful distressed look” shouldn’t actually mean you threw some hardware store paint on it a few months ago that has mostly chipped off.

6. People slapping paint on stuff, calling it “refurbished”, and thinking they should get a ton for it. Suddenly everyone wants to call themselves a “flipper”

5. If all I see are AI pics only, I’m not biting.

4. PLEASE PLEASE don’t put modern hardware on a French provincial. Ok, personal pet peeve, but I’m seriously gonna start hunting people down for that one.
