But we’re definitely not stopping here of course!

Remember my last violet nightstand? Well, this time we’re taking things in a slightly different direction, bringing out those beautiful blue tones with Oxford Navy and creating a soft, textured blend.

I’ve gone back and forth in my head about the top, but I am going with stain! Technically it’ll be a faux wood technique cause there were repairs but I looove to do those 😊.

What do you think, do you agree??

Ok guys, in the spirit of transparency and learning, I’m struggling a little with the top color lol. These metallics are both Paint Couture but 2 different lines….the green is part of their Lux metallic line which has the traditional super fine mica powder in it. The top one ,called Stardust, is part of their Heavy Metals collection and has actual metal flakes in it, hence the incredible sparkle and shine. The pic does not at all do these metallics justice! But it’s waaaay harder to hand brush on a really big surface and you KNOW I am all about brushing my pieces. So I will not let it defeat me! Sanding and trying a couple things today and I’ll of course share any learning 😊. And then I can finish up the green and we’ll start having fun with molds along that transition!
