We wanted to take a moment to properly reintroduce ourselves.
We’re Sarafina & Kyle — husband and wife, business partners, hunters, fishermen, homesteaders, animal lovers, and two people committed to learning, growing, and building a meaningful life together.
✨ WeedensRusticRoots LLC is more than a business. It represents the collection of businesses, skills, passions, and dreams we are building together as a family.
🕯️ Rustic Roots Candles — our hand-poured candle business, created with intention, quality, and care.
🥚🌱 RusticRoots Farm — our animals, garden, farm-fresh eggs, and the work that goes into creating a life connected to the land. We also take in farm animals and provide them with a safe place to call home.
🪵 RusticRoots Woodwork — Kyle’s craftsmanship and passion for creating quality, timeless pieces designed to last for generations. From tables and doors to rocking chairs for adults and children, every piece is built with purpose and attention to detail.
🥖🍪 Our Farmstand — where our love for cooking, baking from scratch, and growing and creating comes together. It has become another meaningful part of what we’re building, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support we continue to receive.
At the center of everything is our marriage.
We believe in faith, commitment, sacrifice, loyalty, hard work, and choosing one another every day. We’re not simply building businesses; we’re building a foundation for our future and the family we hope to have.
Kyle works as a homicide detective, a profession that carries responsibilities and experiences most people will never fully understand. Outside of his career, he puts his time and talents into RusticRootsWoodwork and plays an important role in building and supporting every part of our businesses.
Sarafina works in the dental field as an Oral Surgery Assistant, a career that has taught her the importance of skill, compassion, and serving others. Outside of work, she spends her time cooking and baking from scratch, caring for our animals, working in the garden, creating, and helping bring our many ideas to life.
Together, we’re building something that means much more to us than simply owning businesses.
✨ We’re also in a season of preparing for motherhood and family. We’re using this time to grow, prepare, strengthen our foundation, and become the kind of parents and family we hope to be.
Foster care is also an important part of Sarafina’s story. That experience shaped the way we understand family and strengthened our belief that family is built through love, commitment, consistency, and the people who choose to stand beside you.
That belief is a large part of why we care so deeply about creating a life centered around family, faith, purpose, and legacy.
Our goal is simple, even if the work is not:
To build a life we can be proud of and a legacy we can one day pass down.
A life with land, animals, hard work, homemade food, quiet mornings, meaningful work, faith, and family. A life built intentionally rather than simply lived by circumstance.
