✨ 100 Years of Family History, Beautifully Restored ✨

These pieces were extra special to work on. 🤍

Client-owned and passed down from his grandmother, these dressers have remained in his family for close to 100 years. Originally made in South Carolina, they’re the kind of furniture you simply can’t replace—pieces that carry generations of memories and deserve to continue their story.

For their refresh, I painted the bodies in this gorgeous, timeless blue, then carefully sanded and stained the original wood tops and bases to bring back the warmth and character of the wood. We kept the beautiful original hardware, preserving as much of their history as possible.

And maybe my favorite detail? They still have their original skeleton keys. 🗝️

There is something incredibly rewarding about taking furniture that has already lived such a long life and giving it a fresh chapter without erasing the history that makes it special.

These aren’t just dressers—they’re family heirlooms, ready to be loved for another generation. 💙

When your super sweet client asks you to re-upholster her chairs to complete her vision, you step up and expand your upholstery skills to make it happen!

Added the dome balls around the edge of the table and painted the table and chairs in a beautiful soft pink that coordinates perfectly with the fabric she picked out for her chairs.

This adorable set will be used as her mahjong table and will be the centerpiece to her front room.

I had so much fun putting this together and getting to learn new skills along the way
