ALL GAS. NO BRAKES. 💐😂

The frost is coming Saturday, and apparently my response is to cram every last dahlia I can possibly fit into a jar.

Three fresh bouquets just hit the stand, and I am giving you EVERYTHING this garden has left in her. 😂🌸

We’re talking dahlias on dahlias on dahlias. Big ones, little ones, deep burgundies, creamy whites, and a few other pretty girls who made the cut.

No holding back. No saving the good flowers for later.

Because there might not BE a later. 🥲

We’re making the absolute most of these final days before the frost, and if this is how the season ends, we’re going out with a bang.

Life is short. Put the ridiculous dahlias on your kitchen table. 🤍

One large jar and one small jar just made their way to the stand!

We’re supposed to get our first frost this weekend, which means these pretty girls could be some of the very last flowers to come out of the Wanatee Creek Farm garden this season.

And I’m just not quite ready for that. 🥲

I’ve spent months growing, picking, arranging, and sharing these flowers with you, and somehow we’re already nearing the end of another growing season.

So if you’ve been meaning to stop by and bring a little piece of the garden home, this might be your chance. 🤍

Because ordinary days deserve the good flowers, too. Especially when we don’t have many flower-filled days left.

Proud of Wanatee Creek Farm is an understatement right now. 🥹💐

When I started growing flowers, I never imagined they’d become part of something like this.

The Cornell College Women’s Soccer Team recently reached out about using our flowers for a team-bonding activity, where the girls got to create their own bouquets. And seeing the pictures of everyone with their finished arrangements? My heart. 🥹

There’s something really special about knowing that flowers grown right here in my garden brought a group of girls together for an afternoon of creativity, laughter, and a little team bonding.

What started as a love for growing flowers has slowly turned into something so much bigger than jars sitting in a roadside stand.

You don’t need an occasion for the good flowers. Sometimes, the flowers become the occasion. 🤍

This was a customer request, and I got to play with some of the prettiest flowers blooming in the garden right now.

Dahlias on dahlias on dahlias. A few zinnias. Almost no greenery because, well… you know how we operate around here. 😂💐

And all stuffed into the cutest little white pumpkin.

I am OBSESSED with how she turned out.

This one is already headed home with someone, but consider this your reminder that what’s sitting in the stand isn’t all I can do. 👀

Because apparently “you don’t need an occasion for the good flowers” also applies when the good flowers are stuffed into a pumpkin. 🎃🌸

Okayyyy, I tried something new and I fear we may have a problem. 👀🎃🌸

Because apparently putting the good flowers in a regular jar wasn’t enough for me anymore. 😂

I grabbed these adorable little pumpkins from Walker Farmstead and started playing around with some of the flowers blooming right now and… LOOK AT HER. 🤍

Giant dahlias. Fun textures. Tiny pumpkin. Absolutely unnecessary for a random Wednesday.

Which obviously means I’m obsessed.

So now I need to know - do we want pumpkin arrangements at the stand?! 🎃💐

Because I can make more. And if you already know you want one, message me and I’ll make one for you!

HOWEVER. 😂 There is one small issue…

I told you guys this morning that I want to make room for new things, and I meant it. I cannot put these baddies in the stand until we make some room in there. 👀

The jars currently in the stand are $5 OFF today, so go give those girls a home and let me get back to making questionable decisions involving pumpkins and dahlias.

Because around here, you don’t need an occasion for the good flowers. Sometimes you just need a tiny pumpkin absolutely stuffed with them. 🤍🎃

Okay, here’s the deal. 👀

I have new flowers blooming. I want to make new bouquets. And these four pretty girls are currently standing in my way. 😂

So we’re having a little Wednesday flower refresh.

The jars currently in the stand are still gorgeous, still packed to the gills with flowers, and still have plenty of life left in them - but I am itching to get out there, cut what’s blooming, and bring you something brand new. 💐

So help me make some room:

$5 off every jar currently in the stand (there’s FOUR); today only. 💛

Put one on your kitchen table. Take one to work. Surprise somebody with flowers on a random Wednesday. Or buy them because they’re pretty and five bucks off. That is a perfectly acceptable reason too. 😂

It’s just your average Monday… except the flowers apparently did not get the memo. 😍🌼

I’m taking four seriously stunning jars up to the stand, and I think this might be one of my favorite weeks of flowers so far.

And for everyone who’s been asking me for YELLOW - I’ve got it. 💛

The dahlias are showing off, the colors are gorgeous, there are so many fun textures happening, and these jars are absolutely packed. 💐

No birthday. No anniversary. No special occasion required.

It’s Monday.

That seems like reason enough for the good flowers. 🤍

🌸 A little flower stand FYI because I realized I’ve never actually explained this! I took another full jar home today.

If you see me post that there are only a couple jars in the stand, don’t let that stop you from coming. 💐

I stock the stand in small batches on purpose. I’d much rather keep flowers growing in the garden until they’re needed than cut everything at once and have a bunch of beautiful flowers sitting around waiting for homes.

So if you see something you love but you’re worried it’ll be gone before you get here - message me! 🤍

If the stand is getting low and the garden is blooming, I can always go cut more. And if you want something a little different, I’m happy to put together a custom jar when I can.

Basically, there may only be a few jars sitting out at a time, but that doesn’t necessarily mean those are the only flowers available. 🌸

Fresh-picked really does mean fresh-picked around here.

More flowers. Less filler. Grown here, picked fresh, and stuffed into a jar. 💐
