Happy Easter everyone! Hope you are getting quality time in with your loved ones. There's a bug making its way through our house, so staying close to home this year. We didn't let the kids miss out though. They had an indoor egg hunt and helped make a favorite dessert. We loved every minute of it, even if I'll be spending the rest of the night cleaning the kitchen.

Where are my wine drinkers at? My wife and I love visiting wineries. When we find ones that stand out, we always bring home a bottle to share with friends and family. I wanted to do something fun to add to our little adventures and put a twist on something I see from time to time. The wine caddy. I made mine a little bigger to double as a cheese and cracker tray then added a little flair with a wine barrel design. These are just a sneak peek into a couple that are almost ready for the shop. More colors will be available in the shop as well. Some last-minute design changes still need to be stained and sealed as you can see here, but if you can feel the good time vibes radiating from this thing; smash that like or tell me where you would kick back and unwind with this in hand.

I'm a little late getting to this, but October 10 was World Mental Health Day. This year the focus was on prioritizing mental health in the workplace. Work can be one of the biggest stressors in life and can wear on us both mentally and physically. No matter how much you love your job, there will be days that test your resolve. The things I hear suggested most often are to take all your breaks, use your vacation time, and having a pre-work routine to get into the mindset necessary for the workday. I personally struggle to follow any of this advice, and often find myself working to the point of burnout where I have to pay the price at the most inconvenient times. I recognize my attempts to be a go with the flow type personality actually do more harm than good. So I have challenged myself to be more disciplined and deliberate in my actions. What I want to do is open this up for others to share what they do. Hopefully it will help inspire or encourage somebody reading this to improve their own lives. So how about it guys, what do you do to protect your mental health?
