Stoner Theater Candy Machine with Gum!

We have been in the restoration business since 1994 and have restored many Stoner machines. During that time we only restored machines one way, total disassemble, all parts redone to better than new condition. Many customers wanted us to do partial restorations like some of our competitors I chose not to do so.
I retired 8 years ago, my Son Greg took over the business, and he has decided to restore machines to be more competitive in price. This machine is an example.
You might not be able to tell the difference but here are the differences in this machine and ones we have sold for 10,995. Instead of sandblasting the outside of the machine since someone had already restored it in the past, he sanded it, repaired all imperfections, and painted it. Instead of sandblasting and powder coating the candy stack on the inside, since it was in good condition, he cleaned everything and made sure it is working properly. Since most customers prefer it to be on free play, he did not restore a coin mech. In other words, the machine looks just like our museum quality restorations but at a much better price at 6999! When you have been in the restoration business for 20+ years, there are many images to be shared. Having a customer in Australia, who was opening our first distributorship, they wanted/needed a kangaroo kiddie ride, and we found one! Here is Skippy The Kangaroo's restoration from beginning to end. I have seen almost every restoration done over the past years, but even I can't figure out how they were able to bring this beauty back to life! I have selected only a few images of the original condition of the ride, but anyone will wonder why would we ever undertake this restoration, when the ride is almost a ruin. This simply falls into the category of "Whatever our customer wants!"

The restoration community is not large, but members are incredibly faithful to the integrity of each machine, especially 50's and 60's soda machines. We restore them all! On one instance over the past 25 years we actually had ALL of these machines on our showroom floor. Boy have times changed. Now our projects are sold before we can complete them. In case you can't tell, Red is our favorite color!

BITW was asked to restore a Stoner Jr. Candy Machine. To achieve this beautiful machine, we had our incredible staff meticulously create this one of a kind project. Greg is the expert who brought this beauty to life, and we have to give credit to Glen, our professional artist of over 20 years, who was the genius behind all the beautiful artwork. We were very proud to deliver this one!
