I've been having a hard time painting lately. Nothing is really landing. My emotions are all over the place.

So I went back to my art journal and as I was furiously smooshing paint around I wanted answers to the many questions swirling around in my mind! I just kept asking, why, why, WHY?!?!?!

I wasn't intentionally painting a picture, suddenly this image appeared. It came from deep within.

I'm curious, what do you see and feel when you look at this

In honor of my bday, mom has discounted a lot of her artwork and greeting cards for a limited time! She's never done this before but with all her trips to Seattle to visit my granddad before he passed, she hasn't had time to do shows and her work is filling up the house! Our hearts nearly burst with love as we watch them peacefully sleeping

We cherish every moment of love and joy they bring to our lives

And we give thanks for every day they're by our side 💙🐾

Just sold one of the first pieces ~ Gentle Devotion ~ in my Aloka the Peace Dog series. My heart is smiling as it was a special gift and the purchaser asked that I add "today will be my peaceful day" lettering.

It's Friday and we made it through another week of chaos

It might have left us a bit frazzled, but it's time to don our flower crowns and celebrate our strength and resilience
