Been a while since I have posted a project. 4' x 10' dinner/banquet table. I milled the base out of rough sawn birch reclaimed from an old organ factory in MD. The top is wormy maple. The stain is a maple gel stain with a top coat of Odie's Oil to protect. Should be shipped out in the next day or so.

Shipped out a keno board to a customer in NJ. He wanted a board for a 9' table. I had an Amos & Andy board I had made and the customer did not buy so I stored it figuring someone may want it someday. Since the hole layout is the same for both games I was able to change the numbers and refinish for this customer.

Beautiful plant stand. Made from birch lumber sourced from the Moller Pipe Organ factory over 30 years ago. The base is also repurposed. Always fun to give new life to old pieces. This one is 24" round and 24" tall. The "creek" is Upstart Epoxy with EcoPoxy Sangria metallic pigment.

Been in a creators block for a little while the end of this year. I am sure it has to do with all the holiday stuff going on. Anyway here are a couple things I did to try and jump start the new year. Now to get in the lumber pile and see what comes out. Hope everyone has enjoyed a little time off with family and friends. May we all find ourselves happy and healthy in the new year.

The Lizards here on the farm have led me down a rabbit hole that may not have a bottom. Acrylic paint pouring. Practicing composition techniques and color pallets. Using stretched canvases and Christmas balls. Then using the excess paint to make pendants for necklaces. Possibilities are endless. 🤣

I had a great customer come in and asked if I could change the appearance of a small painted table. It was a job for sure. There were at least one or two more colors under that blue.

Just realized it has been a long time since there have been any posts from the farm. I'll have to get on the Lizards down in the Lizard tech department. You guys deserve to be kept up to date. Here is the latest project to make its way out of the shop. It will going to the Special Olympics silent auction. Hope it raises a lot of money for a great cause. Oh yea, this is the first one of these I have done.
