LOL. JK. But also… not really. 😂

I’m just a girl with some pretty big dreams, a whole lot of ideas, and a vision that I’m still figuring out how to bring to life.

If you’re new here, welcome to The Bijou House. 🤎

It’s my little world of curated vintage furniture, collected treasures, art, and all things beautiful and unexpected here in the Charlotte area, NC.

But I’m realizing it’s becoming more than just a place to shop.

I’m slowly turning this house into something I’ve dreamed about for a long time. A creative space, a shop, an office of my own (!!!), and a place where I get to discover and share my own point of view.

And honestly, I’m still finding my voice in all of it.

I have so many ideas. Sometimes more than I know what to do with. And I don’t always know what the next step looks like.

But I’m learning that I don’t have to have the entire vision figured out to keep moving toward it.

I just have to keep showing up. Keep creating. Keep trusting what’s been placed inside of me. And take the next step.

So here’s to big dreams, small beginnings, and becoming along the way.

It's true what they say...just be brave enough to start where you are + move towards that big dream that some of us try to bury in the corner of our heart we label "one day". 6 months into The Bijou House and I feel like I've been born again-again😂

Treasure hunting is deep in my bonessss, girls. It all started as a wee little girl being taken to the thrift shops with my mama and grams 🥹They knew and would teach me that even with the babiest of budgets you can find quality and uniqueness, you just need a little elbow grease and vision. And here we are today...getting back to our roots babyyy🥰

My first collab, and it’s with a company I’ve trusted in my own home for almost FOUR years. 🥹🤍 Charlotte Cleaning Service - Bravo Cleaning Services
They handled our whole-house move-out clean before we moved to California, and I’ve had them do everything from deep cleans to regular cleaning over the years. And now that we are back home to be able to count on them again is so relieving. Every single time, they’ve been so professional, on time, and just the friendliest people to work with. And their attention to detail… SO good.

But something else I appreciate sooo much? They make it so EASY. As a crazy busy mom and business owner, being able to coordinate through a quick text and know everything is taken care of means so literally so much to me.

I know choosing someone to come into your home can feel overwhelming, especially if you're busy, it can be so easy to just keep putting it off while your house is driving you crazzzyyy 😭 so if you’ve been thinking about looking for a cleaning company, this is my very enthusiastic recommendation. 😂 Truly cannot say enough good things about them🙌🏼👏🏼

i used to think i’d feel more ready by now. turns out, you can be grateful for the opportunity and still be scared to take the next step.

so i’m getting dressed, asking God for courage, and putting my hands to the work in front of me. little by little, The Bijou House is becoming what i’ve dreamed of. 🤍
