Hey! It's SPRING!!!!

For a couple days anyway 🤣 You gotta love MN this time of year. Of course, we aren't really given a choice in the matter.

But here's some news, since we are now out of hibernation mode. Sorry, I just need that time between Christmas and usually March to just not have to do or be anywhere or anything. I hibernate for sure, crawl in my blanket fort and wait til Spring. 😏

But, that's done now - Last weekend we did the WIcked WItches Ball at Ground Zero and it was a blast! Lots of memories in that place, it's been far too long. WONDERFUL group to work with (Forbidden Bazaar) and they have some great theme nights coming up so go support them and have fun.

Now, the next place to find us will be at the Rewind Book Fair held at the Grandstand at the State Fair grounds in St. Paul. We'll be there all weekend with some special pieces just for this. Very book themed (horror and Gothic lit, of course). Over the winter I got 5 boxes (6 boxes? I've condensed them) of vintage cigar boxes, all in excellent condition. So I've been having fun with those. They make great Tarot boxes.

On May 17th you can find us at The Forge in Chaska for the Morbid Maker's Market. This time we'll be inside. Great venue and staff, and the food next door at The Bellows Bistro is nummy (and they give vendors free soda =) ).

There are a couple other markets we're waiting to hear back on so keep an eye out.

I've also been accepted to a show at ALTR Gallery called Greenhaus. It all Botanical themed art and I'm really looking forward to this one. I only wish it was AFTER my yearly trip to Shake Rag Alley because I always find the most amazing stuff to play with on my trip. Oh well, guess I'll just have to take a trip to AxMan - poor me - more like poor my bank account 🤣 if I get out that door under $100 it's a miracle. There's just too much good stuff. Maybe I'll take a day trip? It's only a couple hours to Crazy Franks just across the border. 😁

But that's what going on, that's how we're thawing out and getting moving again. I will say that the word for this year is Intention. Due to some health issues I'm being more intentional in shows we apply to, the art that's made, and what we'll be doing. I've had to adapt to some limitations, no I don't like that word - adapt to new ways of doing things. Not slowing down, but being more thoughtful about things and how much energy is going into them. Cause i have a bad habit of overdoing and not listening to my own cues and then - it's not pretty 🤣. So this year, we change that.

I hope to see faces at some of these events and remember I have a brain like a pasta strainer so please forgive if I don't recognize you, just remind me ☺️. Cause I can't remember names either 🤣. Actually it's more like I will remember your name, but put someone else's face to it. It can be quite entertaining to watch 😝

Don't forget about the Wicked Witches Ball on Friday at Ground Zero in Minneapolis. 10 pm to 2 am with entertainment, vendors, and all kinds of fun. Here's a peek at what I'm bringing 😁. These are cigar boxes and would be perfect for holding your Tarot Cards or any other special tools.

HEY!!! I'VE GOT BRAIN DEMONS!!!

And they like to make life interesting, infinitely interesting.

So, if I told you I'd be at Ground Zero this weekend I was lying 🤣. But not on purpose.

I will be there for the Wicked Witches Ball, but it's on the 20th of March, not the 13th.

I swear to gods if my ass weren't attached lately it would have wandered off with my head by now.

I'm coming out of hibernation against my better judgement.

I know I've been quiet but um...MN, Minneapolis, and *gestures wildly*. But spring is coming, shows are reaching out and I've got a couple you can look forward to.

In June it's off to WI to spend my yearly crazy week doing crazy art with BELOVED crazy people.

July 11th I'll (we'll) be in St. Cloud at The Iron Street Distillery for the Granite City Bizarre Bazaar Sip and Shop from 2 pm to 8 pm.

There's a couple others in the works, but waiting for finalization.

Deaths head hawk moth pinning workshop SOLD OUT!

Class is scheduled for Thursday, October 30th at 7pm.
Cost is $95
Attendees will be educated on the process of hydrating, pinning, drying and displaying a deaths head hawk moth. The specimen pinned during the class will be yours to take home along with a shadow box to display it in.

We are all set up and ready to go here at The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe. Masked event from 3 to 5 pm for those wanting a safer shopping option. From 5 to 9 is masks optional but every vendor will have theirs so just ask us to put it back on if you want ❤️. Special drink menu today, too. I suggest the Apple Chai. Very yummy and perfect for fall.

People are art, cupcakes, crystals and stones, Henna, jewelry, and horns 😈, and more.

There’s also a tent outside offering tarot and woodburning.

Sp much to see and the space is perfectly spooky. 👻👻👻🎃🎃🎃☠️☠️☠️

This Saturday, October 11th, we’re at F-O-K Creatives tor the St. Paul Art Crawl in their historic building at 106 Water Street in St. Paul. Right across from Downtown over the Robert Street Bridge. Artist on the 3rd and 4th floor along with live music and THE EGGROLL QUEEN will be in the parking lot. Between them and the botanical artist in the building I’m gonna need a lot of willpower 😂

Come say hello, it’s a really great spot with lots of diverse artists in the building and as guests. Free parking, VERY accessible with a ramp and they’re great about making sure people with every kind of mobility have room to enjoy everything they offer.

Well folks *gestures at everything*. Yeah, so…

I’ve been quiet. I’m currently spending time with my Uncle as he leaves this fu**ed up world. And I’m honestly glad he really doesn’t know what’s happening outside of his room. His time has been spent listening to old Godzilla movies and opera. And that’s how it will be. His favorite things.

Right now I have nothing on the books until May’s Oddities Expo. I will be taking a little break from everything once this is over. But we’re still here so just keep an eye out and plan to come to the show in May ❤️

Try not to let the world get to you. I know it’s hard, but look to your tribe and keep each other going. Take care of each other, plan how to support each other as we move through the knee high BS. And be kind to yourself.
