Local graphic designer and News 8 viewer Suzy D’Aurizio had my friend in mind for her latest project. She was kind enough to mail these husky-inspired coasters to us at the station as part of a Starry Night series. The full collection will be available at Craft Company No. 6 in Rochester later this month. Safe to say they are ‘Bolt approved’ and brightened our day!

I wanted to thank the people who wished me good luck for my event this weekend and the ones who shared my posts about it. It means so much to me when people do these things and it helps grow my business. When I do these events I learn about my customer base and what people want to buy. This event went very well . I sold pretty much all of my marble art and my metal art so I’ll definitely be focusing on those moving forward. I sold a lot of Halloween items and the new dog creations and the lazy Susan’s. I also got requests to create custom dog coasters for the holidays so that is awesome too.
I want to thank Rustic Buffalo for having me do these events and grow within the company the past few years. I also appreciate my print guy at DCS and More in East Rochester for printing so many coasters in a short notice! Without these two companies this wouldn’t be possible!
Stay tuned for the next event! I’m also discussing items to list with the on line store. It’s always a gamble doing an event. Will the weather be good? Will the people show up? Will they buy my things? Will my car get there and back?

Day 3 of the Rustic Buffalo sip and shop event at Lancaster, NY. Good things come in 3 s. One new item I decided to launch at this event are these 3 lazy Susan spinners. I should have taken a video of them. I love how my art looks on the wood grain. There are so many ways these can be used. They can be cheese and cracker servers. They can be used for card games and such, I want to create more in the future that have cup holders installed into them for drinks or small candles. There’s no limit to what these can be used for!

Day 2 for the Rustic Buffalo sip and shop event at the Variety Club in Lancaster , NY. Perfect shopping weather too! Where else would you rather be?
So, my spotlight has been on my dog collection of coaster art and other things along that theme. But I have so much more than just new dig art this year! Take a peek at my Nightmare in Buffalo designs! And my coasters of love. And also my tribute to the veterans. Veterans Day will be here soon. And this is a special edition because it commemorates the USA 250 years!

I’m loaded in and ready for the sip and shop for the next 3 days at Lancaster, NY with Rustic Buffalo! Come on out to this great shopping event! There’s something for everyone here!
I’ve been doing these events with this business for 3 years now. When I first found their store in East Aurora, NY, I knew I wanted to be a part of this. My passion for my art has always been the western , southwestern art . And the name “ Rustic Buffalo” fits right in with this. Plus my happiest memories with my art journey always come back to Buffalo. Years ago I did art for Hunters Hope, the foundation Jim and Jill Kelly created in honor of their son, Hunter. Back then I did pencil portraits and gifted them to families of children affected by Krabbes .
So I jumped into this journey, of course, creating art related to the Buffalo Bills fan base. But I’ve always wanted to merge my art styles of the western art with this company. This year I’ve been creating a lot of things on wood, stone, and marble . So for this event I have quite a bit of these pieces.
I also started to bring in my love for dogs and other animals to this base a couple of years ago. I created a line of coasters that merged the football theme into the dog themes. I got sidetracked in the last year and didn’t keep creating new art for this particular theme. Recently I’ve been getting back to it. Especially the dogs. I created several new popular breeds in coaster art with Starry Night themes. I also have been making wood creations with cute dog designs. For the holiday season I’ll have ornaments as well. I’ve tried to keep my art very original and while my focus in the past couple of years has been towards the Bills and Sabres fan base, I have my dog walking and pet sitting side business and I know there are so many dog lovers out there. I wanted to be able to reach them as well. I’ve been featuring Stella in the Dogs of Buffalo photo series and that made me realize how many sports fans watch the games with their furbabies!
So here’s a look at all of my news things. For this event I have added tributes to the veterans and the 250 year anniversary for the USA. And since it’s harvest season ( almost) I have my Halloween designs as well.
So come on out to this great 3 day event! This is the only event this year I’ll have my Halloween creations at! It’s at the Variety Club in Lancaster, NY. You can look at Rustic Buffalo’s page for more details!

I was making Sabres art before everyone thought the Sabres were cool! And I made this mirror several years ago! I love making mirror art. You can instantly change the background in it just by where you place it. And your weather can go from overcast to sunny. It’s ever changing. I really should go back to mirror creations. I enjoyed it! This piece was just in the sip and shop this past weekend at the Kenan Centre for the Rustic Buffalo event! I thought everyone would enjoy seeing it with the outside effects! It’s just so much fun to change backgrounds! My lapdesks completely sold out but I will be making more because Together We Are Buffalo is a forever vibe! Let’s Go Buffalo!!!!!!!

It’s Day 2 of the Rustic Buffalo Sip and Shop Event ! It’s also Sabres Victory Saturday! They advanced in the Stanley Cup Championship Playoffs! And it’s Kentucky Derby Day! Who has Kentucky Derby coasters? Me!!! And if you come to the sip and shop they can be yours also! Don’t forget Cinco de Mayo too! And Mothers Day and so much more! How about a Sabres game of your own? I have Sabres and Bills tic tac toe games all wood and stone! Let’s gooooo!
