A few weeks ago, I was given a truly amazing opportunity. I am extremely selective about the patterns that I use to make my kreations. My absolute favorite artist (Hooked by Kati) put out that she was looking for a couple additional testers for a new pattern. I was given the extreme honor of being selected to test Maple!

I will be at the Art on the Brook next month - October 17th. I have quite a few new kreations available! I have had so much fun both creating my own patterns and working from incredibl patterns by other crochet artists.

I have been having fun making larger stuffies and experimenting with more complex/difficult techniques. I love a good challenge!

My helper decided that my newest giant octopus was hers. I got quite a nasty look when I tried to grab it.

Crochet uses a surprising large amount of math.

I am in the process of designing a sea turtle. Each shape requires a different number of stitch increases to produce a flat shape. Each side of the shape needs to have the same number of stitches as all other shapes.

I have worked out the top shell prototype over the last three days. I am fairly pleased with the results.

I am finally typing up my patterns! My notebook has become a bit battered and is starting to lose pages. I am slowing working towards getting a book assembled for publishing.
