New Beginnings 🌱
After 8 wonderful years, I’ve made the decision that it’s time for a little change.
Sometimes the “thing” that serves us in one season isn’t the “thing” that fits the next—even when we still deeply love it.
Starting July 1st, I will be stepping away from my booth at 3 Little Black Birds and taking time to slow down, breathe, and step more fully into this new season of life in ministry and as a wife.
Life feels full in a different way now, and I feel a gentle invitation to create more space, rest more deeply, and live with more intention—giving more fully to a “few”, rather than a little to “many”.
This creative business I started in 2018 has been such a gift. I am deeply grateful for every person who has supported this little dream along the way. Whether you’ve purchased something handmade, stopped by my booth, shared encouragement, or followed along quietly from afar—thank you. You’ve been part of a journey that means more than I can put into words.
This isn’t goodbye for The Cottonwood Cottage—just a pause and a shift.
While I still deeply love creating, decorating, hunting for treasures, and dreaming up new ideas, the way it looks will be changing. The Cottonwood Cottage isn’t closing for good—it is simply entering a new season. One that feels slower, more grounded, and more aligned with where life is leading me now. It’s a season that will give me space to create from a place of rest, not obligation or exhaustion.
Thank you for being here. I’m so grateful for this chapter, and I can’t wait to share what comes next. 🤍😉🤫
With so much gratitude, love, and peace,
Sydney 🤍
