There’s something really powerful about when families bring their traditions into the classroom 💛 (thanks to )
Today, one of our Pre-K families visited us and shared a beautiful moment together. Instead of simply reading, they sang their favorite stories—mom leading with her voice, dad playing the guitar, and their children joining in. 🎶📚
What made it even more special is that this is something they do often at home… the same books, the same songs, the same connection. And you could feel that love in our classroom.
My students were completely engaged—eyes watching, ears listening, voices ready. We even joined in during the chorus parts we practiced, turning the experience into something interactive, joyful, and unforgettable.
This is what fostering multiculturalism and inclusion looks like in Pre-K:
✨ Families as partners
✨ Home traditions honored in school
✨ Children seeing themselves reflected in learning
Moments like this stay with them 💫
