This past week I was invited to a client’s Christmas party.

It was such a gift to see the home full of people and being used for entertaining large groups —just as we had planned for. It is so rewarding to see a vision come to fruition.

TRANSFORMATIONAL TUESDAY!!!

The client needed this guest bedroom to accommodate both two individuals and couples.

We selected two extra long twins which when pushed together become a king bed.

The shiplap wall functions as a “headboard” of sorts where the room is set up as two twins or a king.

TRANSFORMATIONAL TUESDAY!!

Bathroom Remodel

The sheet was the first thing to go:). We added shiplap to the vanity wall which adds some nice dimension and visual interest to the bathroom.

A floating cabinet is an excellent option in a smaller bathroom. It helps make the room appear larger as the eye is not stopped at the front of the cabinet but rather continues to the wall.

TRANSFORMATIONAL TUESDAY!!

The focal point of this foyer remodel is the new Pivot door which glides easily on single pivot point. While the door is large and quite heavy, it is effortless to open.

Installing trim work that marries the door to its adjoining transom window always heightens the appears of the door.

The removal of the arch opened up the foyer to the dining room and updated the look.

TRANSFORMATIONAL TUESDAY

For this project I had the gift of a completely blank slate as a starting point.

Our goal was a luxurious and elegant bedroom which we achieved by mixing elements of crystal, velvet, silk and warm wood tones.

The wallpaper behind the upholstered headboard further elevates the look.

TRANSFORMATIONAL TUESDAY !!

This couple loves to cook and entertain, therefore they needed a lot more kitchen than the home initially provided.

What was previously the office became the working pantry and wine storage.

We used 24”x48” tiles on the full height backsplash which offers a dramatic look and minimal grout lines.

We decided against pendant lighting in order to have an unobstructed view to the television and feature wall.

All the outlets are installed in the counter with a pop up feature which allows for a clean look to the backsplash.

Some interesting features include an in countertop rice/pasta cooker and the coffee maker has direct plumbing for ease of use.

TRANSFORMATIONAL TUESDAY

This client was looking to create a living room that was conducive to conversation vs television viewing.

We creating a focal point wall which incorporated a full wall floating shelf, additional dimension and two styles of wallpaper.

The mica wallpaper and the crystal at the tip of the pendant provide the subtle bling we were looking for.

TRANSFORMATIONAL TUESDAY

The proper scale is very important when designing a room.

Fewer larger things will make a room appear larger.

In this case we had a custom wall unit built which spanned the width of the wall making the entire room feel much lager.

The rug is scaled to the room vs scaled to the center of the furniture placement. This also has the space appear much larger.
