Happy Labor Day Weekend! We are closed today, 9/6 and tomorrow 9/7. The staff is enjoying a little break with lots of cookouts, and knitting and crocheting on the beach, before our busy fall season starts up in full! We hope you have a restful and happy holiday as well ❤️

Thanks to everyone who came out this past week for our End-of-Summer Sale! There are still quite a few treasures left in our sale selection, so we’ve decided to drop prices even further— all remaining sale yarn and accessories are now 30% off, including Fibre Co. yarns!

We’re a bit behind schedule on this post, but our collective exhaustion was well worth it because another successful summer of Fiber Arts Sunmer Camp has come and gone! Last week, we ended the summer on a high note with Knitting and Crochet Level 3 camps. Our campers made great progress on their projects, including two completed cowls, headbands, bunnies, and lots of pompoms.

Happy back-to-school week to all the families out there, and thank you to all who participated in this summer’s camps. We hope your young crafters enjoyed some fun, creativity, and inspiration with us, and we hope to see you again soon for our Afterschool Knit and Crochet Club!

Vests are the best! Make one with us this fall!

🧶Vacation Vest is designed by Park & Knit and taught by Emma Kaufman starting TOMORROW, August 22! Emma made her version in lovely soft malabrigo Rios, and we’ve got some fantastic colors in stock right now.

🧶Edith Crochet Vest is designed by Crochet Pattern Design and taught by Maria starting September 15! Maria made hers in Elsebeth Lavold Designer’s Choice Silky Wool, which we just restocked in some new and favorite colorways.

🧶 Ramona Vest is designed by Annie Lupton and taught by Shara starting September 13! We did not grab a photo of Shara’s vest in progress, so you’ll have to enjoy Annie’s cute photo and trust us that Shara’s is looking fab in Ella Rae Yarns Eco Tweed.

Happy Air & Water Show weekend! Whether you’re visiting from out of town, enjoying the festivities, or trying to avoid the crowds and jets, we got you. We’re open all weekend, 11am-5pm Saturday, and Noon-5pm Sunday, and we’ve got tons of great yarn for you to knit on the beach or hiding out and staying cozy inside!

If it’s been a while since your last visit, make sure you check out our new slat walls! We are so excited about these lovely rotating displays we installed just before Yarn Crawl. Featured right now are Stephanie Jones | Independent Yarn Dyer Mohair and Sock yarns, malabrigo Torzal, and a big, fluffy selection of locally dyed Babble and Stitch Yarn.

Week 6 of our Fiber Arts Summer Camp has come to a close! This week our very talented campers learned to do tapestry weaving a punch needle, and used their skills to create some amazing pieces of art!

Our final week of Summer Camp is next week, and it is SOLD OUT! Thanks to all the families who registered! We are very happy to share that Afterschool Knit and Crochet Club will be returning on select Friday afternoons starting in September. We hope to see your young crafters there!

We are so pleased to introduce you to Torzal, the newest fiber from our brilliant friends at malabrigo!

Torzal is a 100% Superwash Merino Sport/DK weight yarn that puts a new twist on your favorite Malabrigo colorways.

Unlike other Malabrigo yarns, Torzal’s colors are dyed on the wool before the yarn is spun. Then, the dyed wool is spun and twisted into a unique two-ply construction that creates depth, movement, and an organic, handspun-inspired look. The result is a yarn that’s soft, expressive, and full of surprises - bringing every stitch to life.

Each skein of Torzal is 160yds/50g, a flexible weight meant to be worked with US 3 through US 7 needles. Soft and machine washable, it’s perfect for shawls, wraps, lightweight sweaters, children’s items, and more.
