Ok.... I have a decor/window treatment question. I'm buying a house and I love the look of the drapes sweeping the floor. Is that look primarily for open spaces like LR/DR or can that be done in a BR?

I know it's my choice, but is there a rule or what's commonly done?

Working on a project of converting a bedroom into a closet. Homeowner wants a unique and different light fixture. Beware of Integrated LED light fixtures (first 3 photos). Although they are unique and look different, these fixtures cannot simply be changed.....it is suggested that the ENTIRE fixture be replaced. LED lights are long-lasting, but who wants to deal with possibly replacing a light fixture...everything has an expiration date.

A word of advice.... stick with practical finishes that can be maintained while still being stylish (last two photos).
