This kids’ bedroom is still one of my favorites, even though it was completed two years ago. I love it just as much today as I did on day one! The key to designing a great kids’ room is creating space for play. By incorporating a bunk bed, we gave the child more room to play on the floor. The library shelves are perfect for storing books, art supplies, and school projects, keeping the space organized and functional. I also added a desk, as it’s great for drawing and doing homework. I love bringing in fun elements like animals to keep the room playful, without making it feel cluttered. We chose a calm, light color palette to make the room cozy, inviting, and spacious enough for all the fun activities!

Transforming this basement into a cozy, laid-back retreat was all about creating a relaxed vibe. Our clients wanted to keep some of their existing furniture and make everything feel effortlessly put together. To achieve that, we added creative lighting behind the artwork and under the tree installations, bringing in warmth and brightness since there are no windows. The result? A welcoming space that’s perfect for unwinding and play.
