Growing up in Texas, I was surrounded by creativity and whimsy. My mother flipped houses throughout my life, my stepmother was a decorator and my father was always up to something imaginative, like transforming our dining room into a tropical bird sanctuary. After moving to Chicago, I launched a luxury interior design firm called Inspired Interiors, Inc. in 2004, driven by a desire to bring a fun and experiential approach to luxury design. 20 years, 3 kids and 25 awards later, my robust team and I are still creating spaces that add whimsy and beauty to the way my clients live, love, work, and relax. I believe that great design is born from collaboration between clients and our team. We work closely with our clients to transform their aesthetic dreams into stunning, functional spaces where everyday living is beautiful. It’s been a privilege to receive awards from ASID, RTF, GSID, IREJ, and Houzz and to have our work recognized in publications like Forbes, Apartment Therapy, Design Milk, the Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Chicago Business, Professional Remodeler and more. We’ve been fortunate to receive several awards, including the Global Architecture + Design Awards and six American Society of Interior Designers Illinois Chapter Design Excellence Awards. In 2020, I extended our brand with Inspired Luxury Homes, a custom home building company that uses advanced 3D technology to help clients visualize our plans before construction begins. Being a female-led company in a traditionally male-dominated industry, we bring a unique and empowering perspective to custom home building. Beyond design, I’m passionate about entrepreneurship. In addition to Inspired Interiors and Inspired Luxury Homes, I’ve been involved in several other ventures, including my father's international injection mold business and a vacation rental business in the Virgin Islands. I’m fascinated by all aspects of business and enjoy helping other women realize their professional dreams.
