Storage, but make it beautiful.
This project was all about adding function without losing the feeling of the space. My client’s style leans more traditional, so we brought in storage pieces that complement part of her crystal collection and classic decor, then balanced them with cleaner, more modern styling to keep everything feeling fresh. Choosing furniture in the right tone was key — it allows these pieces to blend into the kitchen nook almost like built-ins, instead of stealing the show.

And of course, I had to include a before — because I love a before shot, and also because the “after” just hits better when you know where we started.

For me, autumn has always been a special time of year. Everything slows down, the air changes, and it’s officially dressing weather.
Summer memories linger, but the shift in seasons brings its own kind of calm. While I’ll always love my neutrals, fall’s colors feel like nature’s version of them — warm, grounded, effortless.

Over time, our rooftop has slowly grown into its rhythm —and it feels like a true city hideaway. Joel calls me “head of horticulture” (and honestly, fair). Between the plants, the playlists, and the laughter of friends, it’s become the best spot to hang out.

We ditched the battleship grey for bright white, let the greenery do its thing, and even tossed a mirror out here to bring the inside vibes outdoors. It’s simple, fresh (missing a little modern with styles we all know and love), and full of life.

A fresh take on tradition—because even timeless style deserves a seasonal refresh.

For this summer tablescape, the client’s classic sensibilities guided the foundation, but we infused it with lightness and a touch of modern elegance. The standout Corda Rope Vase by brings beautiful texture, perfectly offset by airy faux blooms—white hydrangea, astilbe, and cream dahlia stems from Crate & Barrel collection—that feel as effortless as a summer breeze.

Paired with the arrangement is Firenze white ceramic candle holders for height and balance—refined yet quietly striking. Every piece was selected with intention, allowing the table to feel styled, not staged. It is giving Nancy Myers vibes which TJD loves!

It’s tradition, reimagined—elegant, inviting, and ready for a season of gathering.
