Found some great seaglass this morning and came home to use one of the bottle
Top pieces to make a trellis 💜

Fun fact: Old bottles turn lilac or purple because the manganese in the glass, which was used as a decolorizer, reacts with ultraviolet (UV) light from the sun. This reaction causes an electron exchange, turning the manganese into a different compound that gives the glass a purple hue over a long period, a process called solarization.

Today’s River finds were more about quality than quantity and I’m ok with that! I love finding blue or aqua glass the most as well as any color with embossing on it!

I am doing a special trellis collection with gorgeous seaglass that I brought back from our recent cruise. Islands include St Lucia, St Kitts, Dominica, and St. Croix 🪴 🚢 🌴

STUNNING pieces of glass… including greens and blues, found at all of the islands 😍

Reach out if you have any requests. I will also be making some to include in a sale prior to the next swap so stay tuned!
