Wherever I am, there they are….or maybe it’s the other way around….

My goodness I love my pups…and not single day goes by that I’m not reeling in my gratitude for this lovely home studio either..

I have a small “break” before I start my next set of customs, so I’m busy cleaning up my studio, reorganizing and giving this whimsy space of mine a little girly/creative-zone refresh.

I’ll share pictures when I’m all done, because this is my magical little world. And I love it. And this is really where a LOT of magic happens 😉🤟🏼

Install day!…and one of our favorite days!

These three custom moss panels have found their home, and they couldn’t be more perfect in the entryway of this beautiful Columbia Tusculum residence.

Inspired by the large-scale moss wall we created for the Homerama show home last September, this collection brings the same organic texture, movement, and connection to nature on a more intimate scale.

A heartfelt thank you to Jen and JT for trusting us with your space. It was an absolute joy to create these pieces for your home, and we hope they bring you as much happiness every day as they brought us while creating them.

This BEAUTIFUL gal gets picked up today…

You know…these pieces tend to become honorary members of the household while they’re waiting to be picked up, delivered, or installed…

And then pickup day arrives, and it’s always a bit of “I love to watch you go, but I hate to see you leave.”

This beautiful mirror has been brightening up my space for a while now, and I won’t lie….I’ll miss walking past her every day.

But she’s off to her new home and new adventures, where she’ll be treasured and admired just as much as she was here in my studio.

There is just something about these mossy mirrors guys….there really is..

These sweet little love letters… as precious as they are beautiful.

Over the years, I’ve created so many of these moss initials, and each one feels just as special as the last…

What makes them even sweeter is when a mama sends me a photo of the little one they were made for. Those moments never, EVER get old. 🥹

This is a little sneak peek of one I’m creating for precious baby Caleb. There are still a few finishing touches and tiny leaves to tuck in, but I couldn’t wait to share it with you. I’m so in love with the simple, timeless sweetness of it already.

Whether it’s a single initial, an entire name, or a meaningful word…these love letters make beautiful nursery décor and thoughtful gifts that can be treasured for years to come.

They bring a little touch of nature, wonder, and magic to a space in such a unique way.

Thank you for following along and allowing me to create pieces that become part of your family’s story.

One of the most important phases of creating a piece happens when it’s almost finished…

Not at the beginning…the inspiration is flowing freely.
Not in the middle… the momentum carries the work forward.

It’s here…..when the piece is standing on its own, nearly complete, and you’re left…sitting quietly with it.

This is the stage where I stare at every inch. Every texture. Every transition. Every tiny detail that most people probably never consciously notice.

I ask myself how each section feels.
Does it create movement?
Does it create calm?
Does it invite curiosity?
Does it evoke the connection to nature that I intended it to do?

This is where the real growth happens…not just for the artwork, but for me…

It’s a lesson in trusting the process while simultaneously questioning everything. It’s refining without overworking. Editing without losing the soul of the piece. Knowing when to push further and when to step away.

And, inevitably, this is usually the moment when imposter syndrome tries to make an appearance.

The voice that sits right on my shoulder…
“Is it good enough?”
“Will people connect with it?”
“Did I really create something meaningful?”

But I’ve learned that those thoughts rarely have anything useful to contribute…right?

So I keep listening to the artwork instead.

Because every piece has a point where it tells you what it needs. And if you’re patient enough to sit with it…to study it….to trust your instincts, it eventually reveals itself.

The final phase isn’t only about finishing…it’s my chance to change…where the transformation really happens…where I push PAST the artist I’ve always wanted to be…

We built this business around creating art that brings warmth, texture, calm, and nature indoors….while building something meaningful together as husband and wife.

And this past weekend was our lucky number 13! We are officially teenagers!

This one turned out a little too beautiful to stay indoors… she had to step outside for a few glam shots and catch the light she deserves.
