🌻 I’m so glad I took the time to stop and smell the flowers this morning. The sunflower fields at Gorman Heritage Farms are gorgeous!

I‘ll be hanging with out with vendy friends Ohio Elderberry and til 5 today, then 9-5 again tomorrow. Come check out the Sunflower Festival! ✨🌻

Thank you to those that signed up and joined us for bookbinding basics. Tonight we tried out/worked on Coptic stitches.

Next month we will be trying out Secret Belgian Binding. Class is November 12th.

It’s been awhile since I was sharing the progress of the piece, she took a vacation to Alaska. 😊I love this piece and wanted to share its journey so far.

This was an absolutely fantastic project to work up. Sarah found a piece that she liked and asked “hey, can you make this?” We took a trip to Weavers Loft, picked out some yarn. I tried out a few stitches, had Sarah pick the ones she liked best, and got to work.

I’m so excited how it turned out. If you’d like a custom piece let me know. I love a new to me project! 🌈❤️✌️

🌞⛺️What a beautiful way to end the last few days of summer, with ! I got to play in the mud and dirt with the kiddos and a couple of big kids too. We sat, worked and moved our hands breaking down the dirt and mud to pull out the clay. It got messy to say the least. 😬 It was fun watching the process go from “ewwww, what is this” to “ohh this is fun and feels nice”🥰

🌈I remembered to rinse out my creations from last weeks tie dye night and I’m pretty excited how they turned out.

I made some really cool flag/bandanas. If you’d like to purchase one they will be available at the Essex Art Walk, October 2 & 3.

I also get to add a few long sleeve pieces to my wardrobe to brighten up, my winter blues! ✨❄️

🥵It was a hot one tonight at the studio, but everyone stayed focused and we learned 3 new stitches. The All-Along, French Link and Catch All stitch.
