As long as I can remember, art has been a part of my life! From quitting the Girl Scouts at the age of 7 because they weren't doing enough crafts for me, or asking my mom to find an art class for a kid which I religiously attended and also started making art for others, to taking art under Mr Ben Price at Seton, and eventually majoring in art at Miami University, it has always been what I love.
After college and a 10 year run as a Social Worker, marrying my best friend, having two of the most amazing kids (who also love art :) I had our home to decorate and its so expensive so I decided that I wouldn't let that get in my way! I wanted beautiful throw blankets, I learned to knit and crochet. I needed a wreath for my door, I learned about floral arranging and how to make wreaths. I needed art for my walls, I had my husband build me some wood signs to paint beautiful thoughtful words on. And so on, I learned the skills to create items for my home and even how to operate all sorts of power tools!
Suddenly friends and family started noticing and commenting and asking me to create things for their homes which is where this business began. I really love what I do and put my heart into everything I create! I offer guarantees not only on satisfaction, but also on the durability of my product. I will touch up your wreath if it goes through a tough storm, or re-stain your porch sign if it gets too much sun. That's one thing I really care about.
I want to be your personal shopper, designer, creator. My ideal projects are someone saying they saw something but it wasn't quite right for their space and asking me to help. Or someone sends me their front door or porch and we style it together. Or someone needs a gift for a baby shower, wedding shower or birthday and they reach out with nothing more than “help!” and we put something amazing together! Please don't hesitate to reach out with all of your ideas, I love a challenge!
