We are a husband and wife team making Kingdom Barn Quilts. Our wood pieced barn quilts begin with cutting the pieces precisely to fit the design. Jim does not use a pattern, he is "old school", math and tools. The quilt then goes to Deb where she paints and assembles the design. The quilt goes back to Jim to cut and fit each piece of the background (every quilt is different). Deb stains and glues the background. Jim trims the quilt and frames it. Finished :)
