Artistic Carved Glass

Artistic Carved Glass Artistic Carved Glass offers unique glass designs for all occasions, such as weddings, births, and memorials. Today, Dave is venturing out on his own.

Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Dave DeFrench began his career at the age of 20. He began his career under Michael Yates, a pioneer in the art of sandblasting. With the skills I learned from working with Michael, Dave moved to Florida to start Signatures in Glass with his business partner. While in Florida, he became well known in the artist glass community, even being featured in I-d-e-a-s- ma

gazine. After seven years in Florida, Dave and his family chose to move back to Ohio. He began working at Crystal Illusions, where he continued to hone his craft. Dave boasts former clients such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Clinic. One of Dave's largest works can be see at the Strongsville Public Library, where he carved a wall of glass with a map of the world. He loves to express himself through his glass art. Using sandblasted glass as his primary medium, he is able to create unique designs suitable for any occasion. His offerings include vases, plates, glasses, mirrors, and awards/plaques; just to name a few.
