Paper clutter doesn't appear overnight.

It builds up - one unopened envelope, receipt, and piece of junk mail at a time.

The key to handling paper is stopping it at the front door. You don't need to keep every single piece of paper that enters your life. Recycle what you don't need, digitize documents when possible, and create a simple filing system so every paper worth keeping has a home.

When everything has a place, you know exactly where to find it. Paper stops taking over your counters, tables, bags, and your peace of mind.
