This Thanksgiving for me is not about the food. It's not even about the gathering.
This Thanksgiving is about gratitude to God and all that he has done for me.
And I'm not talking about materialistic things.
I'm grateful this morning that I woke up in my right mind, able to recognize who I am, make decisions,, communicate and be aware of the here and now.
I'm grateful that everyone who I love knows this and it is reciprocated.
I'm grateful that there's no drama in my life and that it's full of peace
I'm grateful that I have a life full of memories, both good and bad, because the bad ones make me cherish the good ones even more
I'm grateful that I have a personal relationship with God and able to place all my worries upon him and know that he is in control.
Thankful for this journey called life!
