It's a beautiful day to spend at the Cleveland Flea! Come to North Olmsted Community Park, stroll the vendors, and be sure to stop by and say hi!

I've recently been inspired by a vintage bag and purse that I purchased at a thrift store. I loved them so much that I wanted to recreate them to sell at the art markets at which I will be a vendor this summer.

I was lucky enough to find some really cool purse handles at a shop called Sew4Service. This shop is essentially a thrift store dedicated only to sewing supplies and materials. It's an incredible resource! I found a variety of retro looking purse handles there: some wood, some plastic. Each handle has a different look and feel, which is inspiring a different purse for each handle.

Here is the first purse in this series. I love the fun, orange, wooden handles on this purse. The fabric that I used from a vintage dress matches it perfectly! I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I hope it finds someone who loves it as much as I do!

I just adore these waste-nothing, Scrap Wrap Wreaths. As the name would suggest, I make these wreaths from scraps of fabric I have left behind from other projects. I hate throwing anything away so I love making use of these small bits of fabric. I cut them into strips, iron them, wrap them, then glue them onto the wreath along with some coordinating decorations. They are so colorful and fun! I'm looking forward to selling them this summer at the art markets I'll be a vendor at.

Here are a few progress pictures of my gnome wand. The first time I make something I create a paper pattern so it's easily repeatable. I'm sure I'll be making more of these little guys in the future.

My creative brain is a blessing and a curse! I love all of the ideas I have, and it's fun to dabble in many different art mediums. But sometimes I feel like I'm jumping from one project to the next, and I'm pulled all over the place with my various interests.

I've long enjoyed scrapbooking and junk journaling. It's a fun hobby I pop in and out of when I'm in the mood. Well recently my interest was piqued once again, and I started this vintage scrapbook junk journal. It's cool because I'm finally finding a use for the many random bits paper ephemera I've collected. This is something I'll work on here and there when I'm in between other projects. I probably won't have lots of regular updates on it but I'll share whenever I do work on it.
