I had the best time participating as a model this year at the WCRBrazosValley Fashion Show . I modeled 2 outfits from Cowgirl Country Club Boutique (downtown Bryan). The best party turns out is backstage! I hope to do it again next year!

NOBODY WARNED ME...
That all the hand drawing and rendering classes I took in college would still come in handy all these years later. I figured it was to build a foundational skill to support all the AutoCad courses and technology I was learning. Come to find out that more senior interior designers often hire junior designers or draftsmen to handle the production of drawings. So here I am years later with extensive training in AutoCadR13 scratching my head at Revit, Sketch up, etc. So, when I need a little sketch to illustrate the vision for a design detail in a custom home to either a tradesman or the home owner, I do it by hand. But the 2026 version is no longer rolls of vellum and . Now I'm in love with my iPad and app.

STAGING DAY!
Between my moving crew and I, we can get a house looking move-in ready and sensational in less than a day. Here is what it takes:
1. Hours of planning - going through my inventory to figure out what will work for the house AND sourcing new products to give it that WOW!
2. Hours of Packing and Prepping - every furniture piece is blanket wrapped and shrink wrapped to keep it looking it's best. Every decor piece is wrapped in paper and boxed for transport by room of the house.
3. Hours towards the actual stage - Starting at 8:00am a moving crew of 2-3 guys load a truck and move everything to the house with the utmost care under my personal supervision. After 3-4 hours of their moving, I take the rest of the day to make the bed(s), place the decor, hang the art, steam the wrinkles, and fluff the stuff.
🖐️BUT WAIT! - WE'RE NOT DONE!
4. Record - we then go back to our inventory management system and make sure it's updated correctly with what has been placed in your home.
5. Once your house has an offer and ready to be de-staged we schedule our return.
6. DE-STAGE DAY - Movers and I arrive and: fold and bag bedding, wrap and box decor, take down art and remove nails, blanket and shrink wrap all furniture, load it up on the truck and head back to the warehouse.
7. Check In- We unpack every item and place back in our warehouse while checking it back into our inventory tracking system so it's ready to use in the next stage!

👋🏻RAISE YOUR HAND👋🏻 if you’re a small business owner who handles your own social media and is sick of having to make reels, stories, carousels, etc just to keep up and be seen. We are not all videographers or video editors. There was once a day where showing photos of your work as an interior designer was more than enough to sell yourself. But now we need to perform on camera, own an expensive gimble for our phone, and our memory is eaten up by hundreds of hours of B-roll. Raise your hand if you’re OVER IT!!!
