Final coat of paint and polyurethane all set! Assembly later on today and this beauty will be done!
This bench will be joining a dining room set that I previously crafted and was sold at murphysfurnituremattresses !
If you hadn't had a chance to check them out I would highly recommend doing so. A small family-owned business right on 44 in Avon!

Well, I had to take a week off from the shop while this year's sickness tore through my house. Now that I'm on the mend (maybe 72%) it's time to finish up this dining room table bench and this ENORMOUS media cabinet!

The slab flattening process!
Was able to complete this in a day. Customer made a pretty awesome river table but had some issues with a hand plane when trying to flatten it out.
Using my slab flattening jig (that i built!) I was able to both make a huge mess and get this table top ready for finishing!
After about 8 hours of work and a good shop cleaning I'm wrapping it up.
Tomorrow I'll be building a bench for a customer that purchased one of my sets at Murphy's Furniture & Mattresses in avon!
