My daughter and I finally came up with our best method to make these little hats out of retired rope for the gnome ornaments. Along with rope core for their beards, these lil' dudes and dudettes are sooo cute. You're definitely need one (or 3 or 4) for your holiday tree!! Keep an eye out for these cuties.......

I've pulled a bunch of rope core the last few years and seen some different kinds of core. It's usually white, buuuut I've NEVER seen the party that came out of this rope. Multi colored core!! It's a 🍾!!!! Crazy!! Anybody else run across this? I think it's pretty cool, but I'm easily amused. 😎😆

Another beautiful weekend camping and climbing with friends!! A little hot, but managed to get some great pitches in and play on some wideness! Some thrashing and dangling for sure! Oooof!

Second year with this crazy, fun, small business. At the beginning of 2023, I decided I would do better about tracking rope donations, color and length. This was the biggest single donation of retired ropes to date. It took me a minute to process and figure out how much rope was in that huge pile. Ended up with 3,750 meters kept out of the landfill. So excited for new colors to create with. Like the first day of elementary school with the brand new 120 color crayon set!!!! And I love the final results. So beautiful.

I had a request for a matching set, and I really loved how they came together, so I decided to make a few more. Also had some strips of scraps that I wanted to use. Overall, it was a super productive day in the sewing room. Which set is your favorite???
