Me to myself ALLLLLL the time!!! My clay misses me!!!
I’ll be getting back to it soon!!! Covid has kicked my butt the last few days but once I’m feeling better I have some exciting news to share!!! Keep an eye out!!! 💙💙💙
It happens all the time. I pick up my phone to check something or look something up or even just respond to a message. And there I go. 30 minutes or an hour of my life that I will never get back.
I think we all enjoy an occasional binge in the reels, especially in those in-between moments like when you're cooking something or waiting for someone. But when the trending audio becomes an earworm and it feels like a physical sensation to try to puuuullllll yourself away, it's time to pay a bit more attention to how you're living. (Yes, speaking from experience here.)
Screen timers don't work if you need to create reels for business. (You just override them because it always takes longer than you think.) I've been using Android's focus routines and that means certain apps are just OFF after a certain time. I'm sure iPhones have something similar. And there are apps that can help. Then you can still use your phone for podcasts, looking things up, taking pictures, and the very-important WhatsApp messages from people you love.
How do YOU manage and balance your screen time? Any tricks you can share with the rest of us? I'd love to hear what works for you.
