This bathroom was the smallest bathroom we've ever tackled. A 6" thick wall separated the shower area from the vanity and toilet, black and red retro tile covered every surface, shower pipes froze in the north facing wall, and the shower leaked through to the basement.

We gutted the space and mitigated all the issues lying beneath the surface. Then we created a design that complemented a "gentlemen's bathroom" with concrete like surfaces and matte black and brass hardware.

A huge effort was given to the creation of a space that felt expansive. We carried the same tile from the floor up the wall, lost all visual barriers by installing a zero entry shower and custom made a floating vanity, and kept the lighting subdued for a retreat-like experience.

We completely gutted and remodeled this house in the coveted district 12. Divisive walls came down, bathrooms were added and expanded, a master suite was built, and most importantly, we mitigated a flooding basement by installing a french drain.
