Good morning sweet friends!
We had our annual start of the summer picnic dinner last night. It was a request from all the kids before they leave this weekend. I started this fun tradition when they were in elementary school. We always celebrate the last day of school and the fun start to summer.

Good morning sweet friends.
This amazing guy and I have not just one but two kids moving to two different state this weekend. I am going to be completely honest it is hitting us super hard and they haven’t left yet. We have spent over 30 years raising these sweet, amazing, and independent kids and never realized just how hard it would be to let go. We are an extremely close family so it is super emotional for all us. Our daughter and soon to be first grandbaby and son-in-law have their first military move and our second oldest just graduated college and got an amazing job in another state.
Will we be ok? Yes of course, but we are going through some of the hardest emotions we could have ever imagined. We didn’t think two would move away on the same weekend. Being here with all you amazing sweet friend and always saying the sweetest things is such a big help. Thank you for all the lovely support you show me each day. Please bear with me the next couple of weeks as we work through one of the toughest times in our life.

The baby shower turned out to be such a special and beautiful day for our daughter. We had a lovely day with family and friends. They all spoiled her with beautiful gifts. We are so very thankful for all who came to join us.
